APLB Annual Picnic
Sunday, October 4, 2015
In the Washington D.C. Area

15102 Nottingham Road
Upper Marlboro, MD

11:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.

As has become our tradition, this special membership event will be held at the beautiful farm of Carol Auletta, in Upper Marlboro, MD – just outside Washington, D.C. Of course, there is no charge for this. We have always had great weather, but we are also well prepared, in case of rain. Dr. Sife will be driving down from Brooklyn, to meet you with his little doxie girl, Phoebe. And if you have a copy of The Loss of a Pet he will also be happy to inscribe it for you. Our president, Joe Dwyer will drive in, also, from New Jersey. You can see photos of previous picnics at this same beautiful location. Click on our website’s Events Pages.

This is a wonderful opportunity for our friends and members to meet all of us. It will be another very enjoyable time for everyone. We welcome attendees from other parts of the country who will coincidentally be in that area, at the time. Come and be in the new photos we will post on our permanent webpage. Bring your pets, family and friends, and snapshots, as well. And for the picnic, don’t forget to take your own lunch. We will provide cole slaw, potato salad, soft drinks and napkins.

Please write to us at aplb@aplb.org and let us know as soon as possible if you can be with us. As you can imagine, it is important for us to make some advanced preparations. Of course, you may always email us with any questions – or for any other reason, as well. Incidentally, it may be possible to arrange carpooling for those who would like that.

We would love to meet you there. At this time, plans are being made for picnics in Florida and southern California.
