APLB Annual Picnic
Sunday, September 21, 2014
In the Washington D.C. Area

15102 Nottingham Road
Upper Marlboro, MD

11:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.

As has become our tradition, this special membership event will be held at the beautiful farm of Carol Auletta, in Upper Marlboro, MD – just outside Washington, D.C. Of course, there is no charge for this. We have always had great weather, but we are also well prepared, in case of rain. Dr. Sife will be driving down from Brooklyn, to meet you with his little doxy girl, Phoebe. And if you have a copy of The Loss of a Pet he will also be happy to inscribe it for you. You can see photos of previous picnics at this same beautiful location. Click on our website’s Events Pages.

This is a wonderful opportunity for our friends and members to meet all of us. It will be another very enjoyable time for everyone. We welcome attendees from other parts of the country who will coincidentally be in that area, at the time. Come and be in the new pictures we will post on our permanent webpage. Bring your pets, family and friends, and photos, as well. And for the picnic, don’t forget to take your own lunch. As usual, we will provide the soft drinks. One of our hosts, Frank Cook, will also make some wonderful pizzas, in his remarkable outdoor pizza oven.

Please write to us at aplb@aplb.org and let us know as soon as possible if you can be with us. As you can imagine, it is important for us to make some advanced preparations. Of course, you may always email us with any questions – or for any other reason, as well. Incidentally, it may be possible to arrange carpooling for those who would like that.

We would love to meet you there. When we get higher concentrations of members in other areas of the country we will also be holding the same kinds of events in those locations.
