The Edel Meister Fund
Edel Meister was Dr. Wallace Sife’s beloved dog, whose untimely death caused him to write
The Loss of a Pet,
and later found the APLB. Dr. Sife feels very honored to have Edel’s name and memory used in this way.
This fund has been created to provide the necessary funds to finance two very special programs: 1) our unique Online Pet Bereavement Counselor Training Program, and 2) the APLB’s highly anticipated Fourth International Conference on Petloss and Bereavement, in the spring of 2008. Unfortunately, today’s expenses are very high, and $45,000 is needed to successfully accomplish these two important goals.
The listing of the names of donors, and the current levels of donations will be updated periodically Of course, all contributions made to the APLB are tax-deductible. We are officially designated by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization.
