    Registration

    To use the chat you must register first. It is a painless and quick procedure.

    If you are already registered and know your name and password you can enter the chat right now.

    IF YOU HAVE AN ADDRESS AT AOL.COM, COMCAST.NET, CS.COM, ATT.NET, and possibly some other domains, your mail server may reject the confirmation message that APLB.org will send to you, because at least one user of your service has claimed that messages from APLB.org are spam (which is obviously not true). APLB cannot correct this problem! Please contact your Internet service and ask them to remove APLB.org from their list of banned domains.

    The confirmation message which we send to you will bounce back to us. We will then resend that message to you manually, bypassing the problem mentioned above. However, resending the message to you may take several hours. We do not maintain a minute-by-minute, 24-hour watch on our mail.

    If you are new here you will need to tell us your name, Email address, and your choice of user name/password so we can set you up. We suggest that you use your first name and last initial. But you may use an alias if you are not comfortable with that. Choose any user name/password you wish, but be sure to keep a record of it. You will have to use the same one each time you log on.

    When registering, your Email address will be used to send a confirmation number to you. Your address will not be used for any other purpose, and your confidentiality will be protected.

    Registration is a once-a-year process. For security reasons we require re-registration every January.
